Merlin's Book of Spells

This book was the second prop pick for the challenge. It was a mistake to take a stylized artwork and try to create a semi-realistic prop based on it without re-sketching. I tried to get around it by adding more details to the material but I still think it could have been better. The geometry ended up being too uniform - something to take a note of for future. Also, if I had more time, I probably should’ve added some stripes of magic energies floating around it and from the gems.
Almost 4k faces and a set of five 4k textures.
